In order to support our strong and continued growth, we are seeking a new team member for the position of Management Consultant for our Oak Brook, IL office. The position is clearly geared towards long-term professional development as part of our team of experienced management consultants.

• Conducting market research, identifying suitable executives and managers based on pre-defined parameters
• Developing and maintaining contact with existing and potential clients. Working closely with senior management to secure new projects
• Identifying and contacting  potential candidates, verifying initial interest, and professional fit and developing candidates to maintain professional relationships
• Additional project management responsibilities under the guidance and leadership of our Vice President Operations and Regional Management
• Helping to define the search strategy
• Developing the list of companies to target
• Identifying specific candidates through phone contact and database search
• Contacting sources and prospects during a search

The position is responsible for developing the contact list for a given project and ensuring that information is accurately collected, entered into, and maintained in our company database. In addition, the Junior Management Consultant is expected to assess candidates' professional backgrounds and determine if they align with the requirements for the position, based on the defined profile criteria. Additional responsibilities will include joint project management in concert with the project leaders and the guidance of research associates. Long-term growth opportunity.

• 5 years’ practical work experience in customer service, sales or project management, ideally with previous exposure to a European industrial environment
• A high level of natural curiosity and openness to learning new things

• Self-starter with a high level of intrinsic motivation and the ability to manage one’s own time and set priorities
• Creativity in project management and problem-solving
• High-level German language skills beneficial
• A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized academic institution is required; a graduate degree is strongly preferred
